Design A Poster For Owl City

Owl City is looking for original art to celebrate his latest album, The Midsummer Station. The winning design will win $500 and your art will be turned into limited edition merchandise. For this contest, illustrate your own fantasy-like depiction based on the new album title, The Midsummer Station.

Let Owl City's music create the soundtrack to your original art. Feel free to use song titles as inspiration for your images. Do not draw owls, cityscapes or depictions of Adam Young. No photos. Read the note from Owl City below and let your imagination provide the impetus for your design.


Suggested Theme & Style Guidelines

"My new record is called The Midsummer Station.

I get asked all the time what the title means. Like the name Owl City, I like to leave it open to interpretation. But for me, I like the imagery behind it. My mind wanders to a safe place in my head that I can retreat to when things get crazy. I've actually always wanted to name a record that specific title for years and with this collection of songs, it finally felt right."

Things You Need To Include

Required text: "Owl City". All submissions must be original art/illustrations. The winning designer should be able to submit a layered file (.psd, .eps, .ai) of the winning design.

Things You Should Avoid

Respect copyright. DO NOT submit copyrighted work. Do not use stock images or clip art. Avoid typical imagery that might be associated with Owl City (owls, cityscapes). Absolutely NO PHOTOS.
