Good afternoon everybody, today I have some very exciting news for you all!
As you know it is less than two months until our Adam turns 30! I know I can't believe it either! Anyway, because of this I wanted to make something special for him to celebrate such a "milestone" in his life. Just like last year, I was thinking of drawing him a little something, but really... it needs to be more than just that. My plan is to make it show how much we ALL care about him, make it a multi-person project.
And this is where you guys can get involved.
First of all, we have the main piece - the drawing. I'm going to change things up a bit from last time, and make it completely digital - because of this, fellow fans can add their own to it.
I'm still deciding on the theme for this painting, but I have got some rough ideas.
Anyway, what I would like you guys to do, if you want to participate, is write your own short message to Adam on a piece of card (or paper), preferably in a large font so it is clearly viewable, and then have a photo taken of you (or just your hands/torso) holding the message up.
Finally, you can send it to me either over a note, or over a direct message on Twitter. Once I have all of the pictures, I will incorporate each of them into the drawing so that there is a little bit of all of you in it. (I will be asking hootowls on other sites too, such as Instagram; which has a huge society, and spreading it anywhere I can).
You've got more than enough time to post them, but I would love to get them before the start of next month. Thank you! I can't wait to see them!
Secondly, now this was an idea that my good friend EvilPeopleWereHere thought up, on the fith of June I will be starting up the "30 Days of 30 Years of Adam Young" project. Basically, as a celebration, during the month up to his birthday, we'll be doing little build up's towards it, such as writing competitions and the like.
Obviously this isn't starting just yet, but if you have any ideas as to things we could add to this then please do let me know! We wanna make it quirky, a little different, just some fun for you guys.
It's a lot, yeah, but as a fandom I guess it's pretty self-explanatory. I hope you like you idea, you can thank Imogen for half of it. I look forward to starting this!
Also, make sure not to let Adam know about any of this, the picture is gonna be a surprise for him.

ALL MY FRIENDS - Music Video Released

I just came to say that the new music video for All My Friends has recently been released! It revolves around a certain story, maybe one some of you will find familiar, or easy to relate to, and there are some sneaky surprises here and there 😉
The video has been stated as one of three, meaning it is likely we will only gain another two singles, in connection to the upcoming Reels.

Hello again my friends, today is the day!
The official release of Adam's brand new single, All My Friends, is here, as is the pre-order for the forthcoming record, Cinematic.

Our year is coming to it's final months and I am pleased to announce that brings some exciting news.
For some time now we have been keeping our fingers crossed for a brand new Owl City album, and as I mentioned over a year ago, it was said that brand new music would be available by 2017, and we weren't wrong. I come bearing exciting news!
Two years ago, prior to the release of Mobile Orchestra, there was word of a brand new track. Audio clips had been taken from the various trailers, but we never gained anything more than a thirty or so second sneak peek of the same section. Now, all of that has changed.
The game Clap Your Hands was initially going to be featured in, Everybody's Golf, has been released, and the song itself is actually played during the credits!
